Anthem

A.K.A. Porter Scott. A loving husband, father, brilliant physicist and dedicated Mormon, Porter gained extraordinary powers in an accident at Rising Technologies. For a brief time, he wore a costume and patrolled the streets of Phoenix by night, and in secret. He eventually met the young Shane Doleman, and became his tutor and father figure. Porter lost his powers not long after gaining them, and became deaf and mute in the process, but still guides Windjammer and considers him part of his large family.

A mysterious water-dwelling girl in Russia, Baikal is still a mystery, as is what place she may have in Windjammer's life...

Captain Edward Bonilla

A no-nonsense Phoenix cop who, by chance, met Anthem during a deadly downtown shoot-out. The two became good friends. When Windjammer hit the scene, Bonilla became the hero's official police liaison. Often frustrated by the young Windjammer, Bonilla still respects what he does and counts on him in times of the city's need.

Terrance Cross

A former big-time action movie star turned big-budget Hollywood producer, the world-famous Terrance Cross met Windjammer while being held hostage by eco-terrorists at Planet Hollywood in Phoenix. He has big plans to market Windjammer to the world—if Windjammer will just let him!

Lana Doleman

Windjammer's Mom. Lana was briefly a big star in the soap opera scene in the 70s, but got out after the death of her husband and the birth of Shane. Now a successful real estate agent in Scottsdale, she spends much of her time worrying over her boy's crime-fighting exploits.

Jerry Lowell

Windjammer's best friend since grade school and current roommate, Jerry is an aspiring playwright with a lot of talent. He and Shane share most all of the same interests and do just about everything together. But can their friendship survive one of them becoming one of the most famous people on Earth?

Renee Weathers

A college student from Colorado, studying at ASU in Phoenix, Renee is Shane's girlfriend...sort of. A political science major and dedicated scholar, she enjoys the fun Shane brings to her life—and Shane, the sanity she brings to his.
